The Strip is the heart of the city of Las Vegas. Staying in the Strip can be costly. Also, there are a lot of free shows, music concerts, and other tourist attractions in Las Vegas. So, despite the aura of money power over the city, a person can very well enjoy a budget tour in Las Vegas.
If you plan to stay in Las Vegas for more than one or two days, it is advisable to stay in the downtown area. There are a number of attractions in Las Vegas that are free. One of the must see items in Las Vegas is the Fremont Street Experience (FSE). The light show rises to a maximum height of 90 feet and covers a length of 1500 feet. It is a magnificent show and it is free. There are other free light shows such as Masquerade Show in the Sky. The fountain in Gellagion Hotel is another free attraction that enlivens the stay in the city.
Most of such concerts are free. Penske Wynn Ferrari Maserati is a museum in Las Vegas in which the history and evolution of the Italian car manufacturing company Ferrari is shown using pictures and other resources. Another top tourism location in the city is an exact replica of Eiffel Tower. The main tourist attractions of Las Vegas are its casinos and excellent nightlife there. The city hosts some of the most famous casino hotels in the United States. Large amounts of money change hands in these casinos. Cost of living for a tourist can become very high in this city. But also, there are tourist facilities in the city that are unbelievably cheap. Here are some tips to enjoy the charm and specialties of Las Vegas without wasting much money.
There are several websites that provide free coupons. Some websites offer discount coupons for a nominal charge. One can find such websites through a search on Google using simple keywords like “discount coupons for Las Vegas.” Almost all hotels in the city have an adjoining casino. A majority of hotels in the city also have some kind of attraction along with them. Golf clubs, amusement parks, or water fountains are the most popular attractions. Enjoying these attractions are free for people staying in the hotels that arrange these facilities. Bellagio Fountains and Bellagio Gardens are free not only for people staying in Bellagio hotel but also for the passerby and other onlookers. The other free attractions include Caesars Palace Statues, Artwork at the Venetian Hotel, Lion Habitat at MGM Grand, White Lions and Shark Tank at the Mirage, and Circus performance at a hotel called Circus Circus.
There are comparatively cheap hotels in Las Vegas. One should remember that the hotel rates are dynamic. Demand drives the price up. During weekends and holidays people come to Las Vegas from all corners. The main area of Las Vegas, the heart of the city, is known as the Strip. Hotels on the Strip are naturally costlier. But if you choose hotels in downtown, which charge slightly lower rates, you may have to spend more money for hiring cabs and taxis. The restaurants in the town are generally expensive. But one can find some inexpensive restaurants on the Strip and plenty of such restaurants off it.
